The 2024 10th Anniversary of the Highlands Bushfest festival of all things outdoors is set to ignite excitement in the heart of the Central Highlands – Bothwell, the ultimate destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

Join us on November 23rd (9am to 5pm) and 24th (9am to 4pm) for a thrilling day packed with family-friendly activities and a showcase of the industry's finest experts, guest speakers, and live demonstrations.

Experience the pinnacle of outdoor excellence as exhibitors unveil the latest releases and leading brands in the industry. From firearms suppliers to small businesses offering hunting and fishing guides, taxidermy, canvas makers, meat smoking, artisanal beers & cocktails, and delectable food vendors, there's something for everyone.

But that's not all – attendees will have the chance to win prizes, including the lucky gate prize and raffle prizes from the Central Highlands Council.

We’ll be announcing the winners of the inaugural Tasmanian Salami Festival and hosting a Salami Making Masterclass.

Join Dave Cann, founder of CLEAVER Salumi Cabinets, for an introductory demonstration of the art of salami making with game and wild-caught meats.

You can expect to dive into the basics of salami making. Explore tips and techniques on meat selection, preparation, process, salts, spices, maintaining the correct curing environment and an opportunity to ask questions and pick Dave's brain and experience.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, this session is the perfect opportunity to kickstart your salami-making journey.
